This place has undergone an owner change and has a new manager, Melissa, who is incredibly kind and they take pride in serving the local community here with fresh ingredients and good customer service. I’ve been here twice and their food is hot, fresh, and all the employees are kind and joke around. I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you like calzones because they have a lot of options. The biggest takeaway was that the food is fresh and they stay open late truly until 4 am. They had some negative reviews in the past, and the new co owners and management made it really clear since they are now taking over, they are ramping up quality control. So far so good. I had the hamburger calzone and steak calzone. I would recommend getting it with vegetables because it adds more flavor.

DP dough has the most amazing calzones, they are huge, and the DP dunkers are off the chain. The food was fresh, hot and amazing. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere. I will definitely be visiting there a lot.

We came up from Florida to get away from the hurricane and happened to stop in here for lunch today and Tim and Leigh were very polite and kind to us. Lunch was delicious! It was really nice to be able to relax and have a nice meal in the middle of dealing with Irma, thank you!

They always get my order right and they're always consistent with flavors! Buy the family pack online and freeze the extras for later if you're trying to save money on eating out but still want to feel like you're eating out! It's a fantastic deal.

Amazing. There is nothing better than getting a warm, custom made calzone delivered to your door at 1:00 am after a night out. Inside is clean, the owners care and work hard for their customers.

Great food for a reasonable price. Order directly from the website and the food normally gets to you on time and the staff is really friendly. Love doing the Wednesday special deal. Definitely one of my favorite places in Blacksburg to eat

I hate calzones. I think they're pointless, why not just get pizza? So I was obviously skeptical going into DP Dough's. This skepticism was blown away when I bit into the buffer zone. The bread (crust)? Amazing. The chicken? Perfectly cooked and breaded. The mix of sauce and bleu cheese? The perfect ratio. The serving size will DEFINITELY fill you up (two people if you're a light eater) and the prices are great to. This restaurant has converted me from my old calzone-hating ways, and I HIGHLY recommend you come eat here.

Food was a quick tasty dinner, which was ready right at pickup after making a quick online order. Food was as ordered and staff was friendly. Tried the chocolate chunk cookie dough as well and that made a nice dessert.
